Is there maternity leave in Mauritius?

Is it paid or unpaid, how many weeks do you get and do you have to have worked for the company for a set time before its paid?

Also do men get paternity leave, in the UK they get two weeks.

A female employee need to have been in employment for 1 whole year (12 consecutive months) to be eligible for maternity leave. She will then be entitiled to 12 weeks full pay (she is allowed to take 6 weeks before going into labour and 6 weeks after OR 12 weeks after giving birth).

For paternity leave, the man will get 5 days only. This however does not apply to part time employees.
