I'm coming over to settle in Mauritius and I'd like to know whether the internet connection is reliable and what the maximum speed I can get? And how much does it cost?

the internet connection in mauritius is pretty frustrating but surely there are more things in life which determines whether you want to stay in a country or not..

100 mbps is the transfer speed from the router to the pc not the ineternet speed

The maximum internet connection speed in Mauritius at the moment is at 4Mb and you're looking to pay around Rs3000 per month for that. It's the MyT 4M TV ADSL package and as you can guess it comes with TV as well.

With a fixed line, you'll get a reliable connection, so no need to worry there.

Man, you'll have a bad time with net... 4Mbps DSL/broadband costs $100 month lol and it's max you can have...I want to leave from here coz tech sucks here. :(
