Is it possible to have dual Ghanaian and Mauritian citizenship?
My mother is a Mauritian citizen and my dad is from Ghana. I have lived in Ghana all my life and am now 21 years old. I hold a Ghanaian passport and national ID card. My mom holds both a Ghanaian and Mauritian passport. I will like to know if it is possible for me to apply for a Mauritian passport also, even though I have a Ghanaian one already. Is it possible I can have dual citizenship.

Some countries do not allow dual citizenship so you need to check the laws for Ghana. I know Mauritius allows this because I have dual Mauritian/British citizenship.
Since your mother is a Mauritian citizen, you will have no trouble getting the Mauritian citizenship. You can find more information here.
Yes, Ghana does allow dual citizenship. But I always thought mauritius doesn't allow that . Thank you very much
