Documents required to be submitted for application for mauritian citizenship
I'm sorry to ask the same question again. I read the whole article with the information on application for mauritian citizenship but it doesn't fit my case which is me being a mauritian married to a greek, therefore a holder of dual nationality, would like to apply for a mauritian citizenship for my son, an adult of 30 years old, born and grew up in Greece. I couldn't find the relevant information, it seems it's the only case not mentioned... please can you help me in finding what documents are needed. Thank you very much for your help.

Since you are Mauritian, your son is automatically considered as a Mauritian citizen. He doesn't have to do anything else. If however he wants to apply for a Mauritian passport or an Identity Card, then he would need to provide certain documents to verify his citizenship and those would be :
- his birth certificate
- your birth and marriage certificate
- your naturalisation certificate
Other documents may be required but that's outside the scope of your question. For further information, please call 201-3362.
