Mauritian National Identity Card

Hello,

Currently I live in Australia, have citizenship for Australia but born in Mauritius.

Am I still entitled to obtain/ apply for my Mauritian ID?

I will be travelling to Mauritius on Holidays and still have my original birth certificate. My understanding is that I will need to update my birth certificate to apply for my Mauritian ID.

What other documents would I need to present at the office to apply for my Mauritian ID?
