Where can I go to pluck Goyave de Chines other than Plaine Champagne?

As far as I know, the "marchand ambulant" get their chinese guava from Plaine Champagne itself. It is a long stretch of road and the fruits can be picked from either side of the road. Then you get to one place where you can park your car (a proper bay) and there's a footpath that goes a long way in. There's plenty there and it is much more accessible.
Besides that, the whole Black River Gorges area is filled with these plants. Even when you get to the viewpoint, there are guavas everywhere.
thanks a lot
what happened is i asked the hawker whom am used to: where does he get his guavas from. he said from orchard (reserves) and he pays a fee to pluck the guavas. it felt awkward to ask him where exactly. i thought the guavas are nicer from the orchards.
however, thanks, am going to try pluck as many as i can over the weekend. My husband who is a South African adores this fruit to bits.
Leave some for us.
