From what I've read on the Internet, the meteor showers will be seen from the 12-15 of December on a clear sky. Now space.com says the visibility will be enhanced between 10pm - 2am (EST) today which in Mauritius is between 7am - 11am the following day (December 14th). So I think your best time slot is before the sun rises tomorrow.

Remember you need to be looking towards the Gemini constellation as the meteors will be coming from that point in the sky. Although you will be able to see this with the naked eye, I suggest you bring out your camera to take some nice shots to share with us. And if you miss them, you'll be able to catch the event next year as it's an annual phenomenon.

PS : Earth might be passing into/close to a new comet called Wirtanen which could potentially create more meteors to be seen. It might be the first time we experience Wirtanen as well.
