Why do dogs run like mad in a circle sometimes?
My dogs often do this. They run like mad cows in a circle around me and stop.

lol they're just playing, my cats used to do that too, I was scared they thought they were dogs but they were just playing. Cats and dogs are visual and like anything that moves
Some people say it's a behavioural problem. Others think it's because they are either bored or frustrated that they do this.
I'm not sure whether you should be happy seeing them get all excited when you're around or whether you should be worried. If they are healthy dogs (hope you take them to see a vet once in a while), then you've got nothing to worry about otherwise it could be a rash/worm or something else that's bothering them.
Do they have enough space to play? Just asking because sometimes dogs who have little room to move around tend to develop psychological problems. I've seen this behaviour in a monkey in a small zoo once. The enclosure was quite small and it would go round in a circle and not stop as if it was obsessed or possessed.
Many people don't realise this but dogs need exercise and taking them for walks is a must. I hope yours get their bit of walking as well.
They have half a football playground to play. And they walk run everyday. But they seem happy when they run like mad cows lol!
P.S My kitten also did that sometimes.
