Is it illegal to download movies from sites like vtmovie.com in Mauritius?

If the police can turn a blind eye on people selling pirated DVDs on the streets/shops, then I doubt you would get in trouble for downloading movies from the internet. However that doesn't mean it's legal to do so, it's just that you certainly won't be sued here.

Those in the DVD film business get their movies from such sites anyway. Sometimes you could see the DVDrip message across the screen just before the movie start. So I wouldn't worry if I were you.

The best one here in France, although it's blocked in UK, is The Pirate Bay. Try it.
