Is there wireless internet in Mauritius and what is the speed?

MT/Orange also have wireless Internet. For more details you may Google search orange.mu internet everywhere. No big difference between Orange and Emtel, as far as I know, though many people say Emtel is better.

Nomad has been steadily declining for some years; most clients I know consider it unreliable, unsatisfactory. My first ISP was Mahanagar(MTML). It was wireless but not really mobile(not the type of modem that you can put in your pocket). It's the same case, I think,with Nomad.

You can have wireless internet through Nomad. It covers the whole country but the speed is not that great. Although you don't need a landline, you will be entered into a contract with a minimum period of 1 year.
