What changes will happen in Mauritius after the introduction of "sentencing Somalia Pirates"?
Any changes such as economic, social, international, diplomacy, tourism and so on.

They are prosecuted in Mauritius but are transferred back to their homeland to serve their sentence, right? From an economic point of view, I think this is better than having them to stay here in our prison. So we save up on food and other things whilst also having more spaces for local convicts. It is also better for the pirates because they get to stay in their own land and their own people rather than in a foreign country.
I don't see this impacting tourism, do you?
Frankly, I'm fearing for Mauritius. Thinking if a group of pirates decide to free one of their companion before the latter gets his sentence.
That's a possibility but let's just hope our army is strong enough to keep our country safe. Btw we're not involved in any wars so what do the army people do everyday? Train?
Play football to keep fit. I see them everyday at SMF. I am happy we are not a war. But I am fearsome we are not prepared for one.
