Apparently yes. They have video footage of the death as well but it's too gruesome for public view.

Ok but what if they are using this just as an excuse? for me the part which they said that they have thrown the body in the sea intrigue me, i think it was done too quickly.

The body was thrown in the sea to prevent people from using it as a shrine and that's why everything was done fast as well.

i bet he is dead, no government would want to have someone like oosama ben laden alive knowing that he knows so many american secrets ... remember sabapathee when he was killed by the mauritian government (oops thats suppose to be a secret :P sorry LOL)

1. I think that he is in US secret custody. He may have been hit only in the leg but he's not dead.

2. 2nd possibility is that he commited suicide by shooting himself in the head.

He is dead. But they only got pictures to prove it.

I think they buried his body in the sea like rubbish because it's the only thing he deserves. No normal religious tradition bs.

They made sure he died like a coward by saying he hid behind women before being shot during the raid.

*They made sure he didn't die as a martyr by saying he had a stash of high quality porn at his hideout.
