I checked Western union, moneygram, paypal they all do the international transfer i and apply the exchange rate to Mauritian rupee. I want to get the amount in currency. If someone sends me an amount in $ how can I get it in $ in Mauritius?

You can do so with Paypal and Juice. Here's an excerpt from their FAQs on Paypal:

Your MCB account will be credited in the destination account currency with the net amount due to you, after all fees have been deducted and currency conversion from USD to the destination account currency

Just make sure your Paypal account is in USD and your destination account is also in USD.

ah My paypal was in GDP and my MCB visa prepaid was in GBP. So That means i need to have a USD Visa -_-. I'm glad they have updated their terms. I bombarded paypal and mcb them with questions a few weeks ago. They acted like they were throwing balls to each other

I don't think you can unless your bank account is in the same currency. I used to have a British Pound currency account with MCB (there's a yearly fee for this) that allowed me to store money as £££s. If someone was to send me money in £££s to that account, there won't be any currency conversion.

I also used to receive money from Western Union in Euros (from Google Adsense) but they would give me the money in the local currency aka Mauritian Rupee.

Why do you need money in a currency other than the rupee?

Which Mauritian university wants money in foreign currency? I thought they'd all accept the rupee.

haha no. If it's affiliated to another university. part of your course is in currency. you might pay your administrative fees in rupees and your exam fees in currency
