Not in my opinion. Most mauritian newspaper website write more about politics than anything else. English is our official language but most media is in French. There's only a small bit on world news and the local news when you've taken out the politics, crimes etc, is just an insignificant fraction of everything.

Later, CleverDodo should have a section just for non-political news, i.e. real Mauritian news :)

There isn't any good websites for up to date Mauritian news which is a little sad. Everything is about politics or non-newsworthy issues I have noticed
