Hey, does anyone know where I can learn to plant all types of flowers?
I have got a parcel of land where I've been harvesting vegetables till now, but now I want to change to flowers.

SO can anyone tell me where I can learn about flowers?

There are millions species of flowers and lots of places to learn about them. So you need to be more specific - narrow your list down to only a few. What is it you're looking to do? Grow flowers to sell or personal satisfaction?

Each plant has its own season for optimal growth and blossoming. Roses for example require good amount of sunlight.

So again, tell us which flower you're more interested in and we'll point you in the right direction.

So, gices, I'm actually looking to grow flowers in quantity for sale to hotels or for events like weddings, etc.

I do not even know the different kinds of flowers, so I guess I will want the ones which will usually appeal to hotels or which are in great demand.

I'm totally new to it, so help guys.

Thanks.

Please do not post the same thing twice. I've unpublished your other question on flowers. I haven't forgotten about your query though, I will send you a list of resources here later on. Be patient :)

I was going to give you some links to resources on planting flowers but then I thought it wouldn't be of much help to you. Let me explain to you - anthuriums require a lot of humidity so growing it somewhere dry is a waste of time.

Therefore I think you should consider the climate where you land is first then based on that decide what types of flowers you will grow. If you contact the Ministry of Agriculture, they will be able to tell you what will grow best in your land.
