Should I get the Samsung Galaxy S5 or wait for the iPhone 6?
Anyone bought the S5 yet? Is it worth the price tag or should I just wait for another smartphone like the iPhone 6?

I was looking to get the Samsung Galaxy S5 myself but I didn't in the end. Here's what I think of it:
Pros
- Powerful camera which means you can take breath taking pictures to post on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram
- Battery is removable but you also have a battery saving mode which turns your screen black & white and stops unimportant apps from running
- Dust and water protection
- Expandable storage with its microSD slot
Cons
- The heart rate monitor is not accurate and unnecessary
- The mobile phone is more expensive than others with similar features
- The larger screen means it can be difficult to handle the phone with just one hand
I'm not sure about the specs for the iPhone 6 but it's definitely worth checking out HTC One M8, like @MikeSin suggested and Sony Experia Z2 before you make a final decision.
that depends on you,
Well android been here for a long time now, and upgraded from kitkat are wayyyy forward to be think
Apple. Awesome tech. Stability is just perfect
But we really don't know when iphone 6 is going to be released
about S5 ,
its price will drop as soon as S6 comes in the market
Just like S4 price is about 9K new on ebay
so. the choice depends on you
Iphone has the perfect stability bottom line
Initially I didn't like the larger screen with the S5 (5.1 inches) but now I think it's not too bad because with all the cool apps you install on smartphones these days, smaller screens don't do them justice.
I really like the battery saving mode in the S5 as I'm always running out of charge on my current phone as I use it a lot, lol. But I don't want to get it and find out couple of months later that the iPhone 6 is a much better phone.
What phone are you currently using if you don't mind me asking?
Why not also consider the HTC One M8 ? It depends on budget too.
The HTC One M8 is a great phone and I really like the powerful camera but the aluminium casing which gives it that great look makes it really slippery. Do you have an HTC by the way?
Not yet but seriously considering it. I am also looking for a new smartphone still using my old (or not so old) Samsung Galaxy S2.
A friend of mine has the HTC One (not M8) and loves it. The audio is impressive and I have to admit that smartphone beats all others in looks. The touch screen is way better than the S5 too but the grip is ruining it for me. Have you seen and held the HTC yet?
I have only looked at the various video presentations on Youtube. The specs and reviews do give it a head start for me. Hopefully I can go to a showroom to hold one in my hand. At this stage it is this one which is top of my list.
