The MITB has various IT courses such as Networking, Web Development and Hardware and certificates obtained from this institution are sometimes valid for the Migration Circulaire programme by NEF. I've used the word "sometimes" because most immigration to Canada under this project is mostly of the type mechanic, butcher etc, not so much demand for IT specialists.

In Port-Louis, you'll have to go to the Knowledge Based Training Centre at Military Road (route millitaire).

Quote from DefiMedia :

In another major achievement by the UoM, as part of its agreement, CGA Canada in partnership with CITREC has evaluated UoM degree standards and found them to be substantially equivalent to Canadian degree standards. As such an undergraduate degree from the UoM in any discipline is recognized by CGA Canada as having met the university degree requirement.

Therefore any courses followed at the University of Mauritius would be recognised by CITREC (Canadian International Training & Education Corporation) too.

The costs will and time taken will depend on the courses chosen. A diploma will cost less than a degree and the duration will be shorter as well.
