Tsunami, earthquake, volcanoes, war, virus breakthrough or even extraterrestrial attack. All these are possible scenarios. But has anyone yet found where is the best refuge in these cases?
I'm starting to research on this. Hope you all members help me.

I think that depends on the calamity itself. For tsunamis, I think if we go to higher lands, like Curepipe, we should be able to avoid it provided the waves do not cover Mauritius completely.
For earthquakes, well it's like lightning, you don't know where it's going to strike but there are houses which can be built to withstand the shocks of earthquakes.
If you don't live near volcanoes, you should be fine unless the eruption is so strong that nowhere is safe.
For all the others, the best thing to do is to have an underground living facility with enough food supplies but then again, what do you do when you run out of food.
It's probably best not to think about all those things otherwise, you'd be too scared to even go outside.

LoL. You know, I've been thinking of the deadliest scenario ever. Imagine there's a tsunami...we go to curepipe. After a while trou-aux-cerf erupts. After some days due to lack of good sanitary condition there is sickness everywhere and everyone starts attacking each other. Damn I think I watched too much zombie films.
Wow so dramatic, you really do watch too much films! You know for a cool $4 million you can buy yourself an underground bunker in the US that will protect you from all that.

I checked it out already. But was wondering if this happens here, will there be only chaos? Or a heavenly refuge?
