I want to do sociology at a subsidiary level, but all colleges like QEC, Droopnath & others have it as main only. Apart from sociology, I do not have good subject options.(AS level)
Besides,I can't have it main, as I will compete for laureateship. I'm doing science side. what do I do?

If you're looking for scholarship, then there's a fixed combination of subjects eg for science it's Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A Level.

However you are allowed to enter up to 4 main (A Level) subjects for HSC with GP being the AS Level which is compulsory. I thought Sociology was an AS Level subject for HSC as stated on the government website (Syllabus Code : 9699), so I'm not sure whether things have changed now and you can do it as a main subject for HSC.

If you are competing for scholarship it is better to look for subjects which have more significance to the field your are choosing. For example if you are doing the science side, it would be better to choose a science subject or mathematics.
