Hi,

Can someone clarify me, I have a private number for my car. Can I sell it to someone here? What the procedure?

Finally, if a purchase another car and want to keep the same numbers. Any idea of the fees and procedures. Thanks

You can only sell the private reg along with the car, not separately.

If you want to transfer the private licence plate from your existing car to another car you've purchased, then it will cost Rs3000. You just need to go to the NTA office and fill out a form and you'll need your ID and horse power (registration book).
